We just bought one of your twin eggs today at the Main Street Arts Festival in Fort Worth TX. It is awesome! We hope to add to our "collection" over the years.

I have been a big fan of your work since i was 13 years old. I purchased my first piece in 1988 when i was 18. Its a Baby with an almost black shell. Its beautiful and sits on my shelf now along with a head hatcher, a peeper and my prized papa dragon. I acquired all my dragons at Zarks gallery. Your skill and attention to detail continues to amaze me.

To say your Dragons aren't the best would, not only be a lie, but result in my discredit. There is not one week, from the day you delivered, that someone has not stood in awe of the sculpture proudly displayed on my hearth. That's a lot of weeks and many awed spectators. Too many years worth. I'm afraid to say. To touch the supposed "art uneducated" (whatever that means) and inspire the exploration of what art can mean to them should be the subconscious goal of all artists. Rare, but it does happen. Unfortunatley, history has proven great art is never appreciated by those who can influence until the artist and those with true insight have been gone for at least 100 years. That's enough beating a dead horse. I say if you are fortunate enough to enjoy Thompson's work, you are in a good and special company. The life of an "art show" artist isn't glamorous and is very hard work. An artist is inspired by appreciation. Dennis is appreciated. Those who see his work really "look". They do see. They see millions of years of inspiration from the fossils of ancient Earth to the possible unseen inhabitants of the future. More people know Thompson's work than his name. I'm doing my best to remedy that. All I can say is "Dennis Thompson, let your imagination sore. Draw inspiration from those who appreciate your art now and all the artists who have influenced you. Sculpt until you drop! We're all better for it." Thanks for years of wonder. Ron Bertram Houston, TX.

We were enthralled YEARS ago while in Annapolis, MD and saw a glass display of your dragons; bottom shelf depicting an intact egg, and prgressing in stages of emersion until the top pane of glass was broken and empty......we have since purchased eggs with a crack and just an eye visible; then a wing; and the last halfway out. The eggs are turquoise pottery. We would LOVE to complete the metamorphisis...let me know what info we need to provide to do so.
